Byers starts as Swans make three changes

George Byers makes his first start since early October as one of three changes to the Swansea City line-up for today's clash with Bristol City (3pm).

The midfielder is set to play alongside Nathan Dyer and Bersant Celina in a three behind in-form frontman Oli McBurnie.

Declan John comes in on the left-hand side of the defence as Kyle Naughton drops to the bench, while Jay Fulton starts in midfield with Leroy Fer sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Twenty-year-old goalkeeper Steven Benda is included among the substitutes as Kristoffer Nordfeldt misses out through illness.

Luciano Narsingh is among the substitutes as he makes a matchday squad for the second time this season, but Daniel James is not involved.
