Cameron Burgess has insisted Swansea City to start replicating their fine home form on their travels, starting with Tuesday's trip to Fratton Park.

The Swans stretched their unbeaten home record to 10 Championship games with victory over 10-man Stoke City at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday. In those 10 games, the Swans have only conceded four.

The Australian international was excellent in defence as Swansea kept another clean sheet on home turf.

The centre-back acknowledged frustration in the side's away form and has insisted they must start to reproduce their home performances on the road as travel to take on Pompey on Tuesday evening.

"It was a professional performance. It's not always easy when you play against 10 men," said Burgess.

"We had two good goals, [Liam] Cullen had a great strike and Vipi [Zan Vipotnik] just doing what he does. It was a good day all round, and good to get a clean sheet.

"It's massive to keep this home record going, and it's something to build on.

"It's everyone that contributes to this record and getting clean sheets. The defensive unit, the crowd and the whole team. It's our home place and we want to defend it with pride.

"There's been frustration away from home sometimes, there's times that we've played well and not quite got the results.

"And what a way to start putting in results away from home starting with Tuesday night."
