Swansea City are back to winning ways and Bersant Celina wants to build on that form over a busy festive period.

The Kosovo international claimed a goal and an assist from the bench against Sheffield Wednesday last time out, helping Graham Potter’s men turn a deficit into a win for the fourth time this season.

Back-to-back triumphs against Brentford and the Owls have set the Swans up nicely for the Christmas period, which will see them play four games in just 11 days.

Having responded well to a sequence of three losses against Norwich, West Brom and Derby, creative midfielder Celina wants to make the most of the winning momentum, starting with Saturday’s trip to Hull.

“Losing three games in a row hurt and we want to come back stronger over the next few games. We will look to build on this and make sure we can have a good Christmas on the pitch,” he said.

“I still think we are one of the best teams in the league and play some attractive football.

“I am really enjoying my time here. I feel I have settled down well. I am just really happy to be in a place with people that want to play good football. The players and staff, everyone had been amazing.

“It was great to get my third goal at the Liberty. Saturday’s win gives us a huge confidence boost going into a busy period of games over Christmas.”
