Due to popular demand Swansea City can confirm the upcoming fans’ forum and charity fundraising event in Carmarthen has been moved to a larger venue in order to allow more fans to attend.

The forum had originally been due to take place at Carmarthen Town AFC on June 11, but due to the number of supporters who have registered for a place among the audience outstripping the planned capacity, the event will now be hosted at St Peter’s Civic Hall.

The panel will see new head coach Alan Sheehan join chief executive Tom Gorringe and director of football Richard Montague to field questions from supporters.

The club would like to place on record its thanks to Carmarthen Town, Swansea City Supporters’ Trust and Swansea Building Society for their help and support in delivering the forum and charity evening.

Timings for the event remain as previously announced, doors will open at 5.45pm with the panel taking questions from 6.15pm.

All proceeds from the event will be equally donated to two charitable causes:

1) The GO Jones Academy Scholarship

2) The Cwtsh Clos Appeal

Attendees can take part in fundraising activities, including a charity auction featuring exclusive items.

Donations can also be made in advance via this donation link

The club will confirm ticket allocations by close of play on Tuesday, June 3. Supporters can register to attend via the link below.
