Chris Llewellyn | We had the chances to win by an even bigger margin

Assistant coach Chris Llewellyn was pleased with Swansea City Under-21s' dominant display in victory over their Bristol City counterparts, but feels his side could have won by more than their eventual 4-1 margin.

Yori Griffith netted a hat-trick for the home side, with Thomas Woodward also netting from the penalty spot as they emerged emphatic victors.

Joe Davies, Kai Rhodes and Ben Lloyd all had further chances against a Robins side who posed a threat on the counter but who spent much of the evening being penned back into their own half by the fluency of some of Swansea's attacking play.

And Llewellyn wants the development side to find that ruthless edge in front of goal.

"Overall it was a good night's work, to win a game with a scoreline like that is pleasing,"he said.

"But as coaches and as a staff we are always striving for more. We got into their final third with ease at times, but then we lacked the killer instinct or that final bit of detail to make the final pass.

"Obviously to come away with four goals, we cannot be too unhappy.

"We were disappointed with the goal we conceded and we went through it at half-time, and there was a lot of stuff behind the ball that needed to be better and a bit cleaner.

"We addressed that, they were a threat on the counter-attack, but once we sorted that out we managed the game well.

"We created lots of chances, and that has been the story of our season really. Yori has popped up with a hat-trick tonight, and Ben Lloyd and Thomas Woodward have been among the goals for us.

"But it's about looking to have that situation where we get all those moments of good play come to fruition and we complete those chances and we end up with a big scoreline, because that is coming."
