A late Mathieu Flamini own-goal saw Swansea City earn a creditable draw away at Arsenal on March 25, 2014.

The Swans appeared on course for defeat at the Emirates after quickfire goals from Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud cancelled out Wilfried Bony’s first-half header.

However, the visitors ensured a share of the spoils in the dying moments as the ball ricocheted in off Flamini after Leon Britton’s surge into the box.

Garry Monk’s side took the lead in the 11th minute following a neat move that resulted in Bony heading home Neil Taylor’s inviting cross for his 20th goal of the season.

The Swans remained resolute in defence until the 73rd minute when Podolski volleyed in from Kieran Gibbs’ cross. The German international then turned provider 66 seconds later as his centre was steered in by an unmarked Giroud.

Nevertheless, Monk’s men continued to plug away and got their reward in the final minute.

Britton burst into the box after playing a neat one-two with Angel Rangel and although Wojciech Szczesny denied the midfielder, the ball deflected in off Flamini to send the travelling Jack Army into ecstasy.
