Swansea City have completed the signing of Dutch midfielder Kees de Boer on a three-year deal from Ajax.
The 17-year-old, who started his career with hometown side FC Volendam Youth, joins the Swans academy set-up after six seasons with Ajax.
The defensive midfielder will link up with the under-18s squad as they prepare for the start of the 2017/18 campaign in Premier League South.
“I am excited to be here, I am looking forward to pre-season and getting my first minutes on the pitch," said de Boer.
“I had the chance to speak with former Ajax player Mike van der Hoorn and Kenji Gorre a few months back before joining.
“They told me it is a good club that will help me develop. The facilities here look great and it is a family club. I am looking forward to getting started.”
