Dwight Tiendalli released by Swans

1st September

Swansea City has parted company with defender Dwight Tiendalli.
Tiendalli, who was in the last year of his deal, has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The 29-year-old full-back joined the club on a free transfer in September 2012 and made 46 appearances in all competitions - scoring once - for the Swans.
He made his debut in a Capital One Cup tie at Crawley, and also came off the bench in the 5-0 victory over Bradford in the final at Wembley as the Swans claimed their first major silverware in just over a decade.
His impressive performances for the Swans earned him his international debut as he featured for Holland against Indonesia in June 2013.
After leaving the Swans at the end of his contract, he rejoined the club just two months later, penning a three-year deal.
Last season he found game-time hard to come by as he made just six appearances for the Swans, while he featured twice during a loan spell at Championship side Middlesbrough.
Everyone at Swansea City would like to thank Dwight for his services, and wish him good luck for the future.
