Dyer: We are ready for new season

1st August

Nathan Dyer says Swansea City are raring to go for next weekend's Premier League opener against Chelsea.
The Swans head to Stamford Bridge on Saturday (August 8) to face the reigning champions as the 2015-16 campaigns gets underway.
Garry Monk's side ended their pre-season programme unbeaten after a 0-0 draw against Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna at the Liberty Stadium.
And Dyer insists the squad are ready to go ahead of next weekend's clash at Stamford Bridge.

"We are going into the new season in good stead," he said. "Our fitness is looking good, the new players have gelled in well and we are looking forward to the game against Chelsea.
"Playing against foreign teams is always good for us and Chelsea are a side that will keep the ball well, so hopefully this game will keep us sharp.
"There's a lot of competition for places and everyone is looking to put their mark on the team.
"We've got a big squad this year and it brings out the best in players."
