Eder takes centre-stage for Jack Mag

4th December

Eder goes under the spotlight in Saturday's Jack Magazine as the Swans host Leicester City in the Barclays Premier League (3pm).
The 27-year-old striker speaks to the official matchday programme about his multi-cultural background, growing up in Portugal and his move to South Wales.
Born in Guinea-Bissau, Eder enjoyed a happy childhood growing up in Portugal and from the age of eight boarded at a college, located on the outskirts of the Coimbra district of his adopted country, called La "O Girassol".
"I didn't really grow up with my family; I grew up in a college," says Eder, who is the eldest of three sisters and one brother. "It was really good for me. It helped me to grow into the man that I have become and aided my football career.
"Of course, at times it was a little bit tough, which is normal, but I enjoyed it a lot. I met so many of my friends there, and it was good to have that life experience.
"I moved to Portugal when I was two-years-old, so I don't remember living in Guinea-Bissau.
"My family moved to Lisbon so that we could live in better conditions and have a better way of life. My father was already living in Portugal, so I moved over with my mother."

Elsewhere in Saturday's matchday magazine, we get to know a little bit more about Swans starlet Jordan Jones in our Under-19s feature, while U21s defender Alex Gogic talks to Jack Magazine about his move to Swansea, his Premier League ambitions and stepping away from the shadows of a famous football father.
Meanwhile, former Bournemouth and Swans midfielder Paul Reid discusses his time at both clubs, former boxer Rendall Munroe takes centre-stage in 'A Famous Face', and Leon Britton features in 'Six of the Best'.
And if that wasn't enough for you, we have plenty more insightful and entertaining features to whet your appetite right up until kick-off!
Jack Magazine is available for just £3 on matchday from around the Liberty Stadium, the Club Shop and online.
It will also be available in Slee Stores in Plasmari, Coggers on Wind Street and Browns Newsagent in Landore.
