Ethan Galbraith | We have to be ready to go again
Ethan Galbraith and Swansea City head to Preston North End this evening looking to put their weekend frustrations behind them.
The Swans picked up a point against a Charlton side boasting a strong home record on Saturday, but were left disappointed at not leaving south London with all three.
There has been little time to dwell on that though, with a trip to take on high-flying Preston at Deepdale quickly looming on the horizon.
The Swans have lost just one of their last five away games, but feel they have left a number of points on the table during the opening months of the campaign.
And Galbraith says Alan Sheehan’s squad have to quickly move on and find that ruthless edge in the final third.
“We are frustrated, but we have to be ready to go again,” said the midfielder.
“In this league, there are no easy games, no one feels sorry for you. So we have to prepare and go out and perform, it’s as simple as that.
“We just need to keep working, and we know we need to kill games off when we have the chances and are in the ascendancy.
“We have been having good spells in games, but it’s that final bit we need to get better at.
“We are confident in our abilities, we want to kick on. Everyone wants to win and we want to try and get as far up the table as we can.”
