Fabianski's hands-on interview in Jack Mag

20th December

Lukasz Fabianski takes centre-stage in Sunday's Jack Magazine as the Swans host West Ham United in the Barclays Premier League (4pm).
The 30-year-old goalkeeper speaks to the official matchday programme about life in South Wales, goalkeeping coaches and fresh challenges following a stunning first year in Swansea.
And whilst acknowledging the difficult period the club is currently enduring, Fabianski reflects on his first year in South Wales with a hugely positive outlook and insists that Swansea's recent difficulties will only make them stronger in the long run.
"I do really enjoy it here," says the Poland international. "It's been a difficult period for us, so the mood isn't how we want it to be, but in general it has been a great time for me.
"We will turn things around and pick up the points that we really need to get back on the right track. These periods are for players to step up and show our character even more and come out stronger. It will help us grow as a team.
"I have always approached football and training the same way. I focus on my work and continue to work hard, that's the main thing for me. I believe that once you get things right on the training ground, it has to pay off for you sooner or later. I believe in a hard work ethic, and that it will give something back to you."

Elsewhere in Saturday's matchday magazine, we get to know a little bit more about Swans development defender Dan Alfei in our Under-21s feature, while U18s midfielder Jack Evans talks to Jack Magazine about growing up at Swans Academy, an ambition to become Swansea's next Leon Britton and making his U21s debut.
