Tammy Abraham wants to make an instant impression at Swansea City as he prepares to make his first appearance for the club.

The striker, who has arrived at the Swans on a season-long loan move from Chelsea, is expected to feature in tonight’s tour friendly against Richmond Kickers (7.30pm local; 12.30am BST).

Abraham arrived at the club’s training base in Raleigh, North Carolina on Sunday night, and is hoping to hit the ground running in the Swans’ latest test of their tour of America.

“It was nice to finally meet the boys on Sunday. I’ve settled in very quickly and they’ve made me feel at home,” said Abraham.

“It’s about getting together and building a bond. When you build a bond off the pitch it helps you on it.

“I have been told I will play some part against Richmond. I may not play for too long, but it’s a chance to make a good first impression with everyone.

“I want to go out there all guns blazing.”
