Gallifuoco hoping for more of the same

11th November

Giancarlo Gallifuoco believes it could be a memorable season for the Under-21 squad if they continue their recent form.
The development side eased to a 4-1 victory over Brentford on Monday night to stretch their unbeaten run to seven games.
Chris Llewellyn's side haven't tasted defeat since losing to Cardiff in mid September, with the Swans closing the gap at the top of Development League Two South.
And Gallifuoco believes that the current squad has what it takes to go all the way this year.

"Me and the boys are really happy with our form," he said. "We've been working really hard in training and put in consistent performances on the pitch - and the results have shown that.
"We've worked a lot on building up from the back and attacking down the wings, so it's great to see that working.
"This team is very good and has a lot of potential. We work well together and if we continue like this we have a real chance of winning the league."
After arriving on a one-year contract from Tottenham back in the summer, Gallifuoco has been ever-present for the Under-21s this season.
And he is now off to join up with the Australian Under-23 squad for a series of games against Brazil, South Korea and China, with the defender hoping he can replicate his form on the international scene.
"I've settled in really easily," he said. "The boys are great and welcomed me straight away.
"I'm very honoured to be called up and I have just got to go there and work hard and perform well for my country."

We have received a number of requests to stream our Under-21 fixtures live over the internet via the club's official YouTube channel. Unfortunately the Premier League, who run the competition, will not grant the club permission due to copyright issues.
