Guidolin takes centre-stage in Jack Mag

5th February

New Swans head coach Francesco Guidolin takes centre-stage in Saturday's Jack Magazine as the Swans host Crystal Palace in the Barclays Premier League (3pm).
Ahead of tonight's crucial clash with the Eagles, Jack Magazine took a look at the Italian manager's outstanding achievements and experience to show you just what he will bring to Swansea City.
A student of the beautiful game, a cycling enthusiast and the man who oversaw Alexis Sanchez's rapid rise at Udinese, there is more than meets the eye to Guidolin.
A managerial career that spans across three decades, the former Udinese boss has enjoyed 17 different spells with a variety of clubs and only six other managers have managed more Serie A games than him (555 games over 21 years).
Guidolin may not be so well known in Britain, but in his native country he is highly regarded and has been known to perform "miracles", according to Italian football expert James Horncastle.

Elsewhere in Monday's matchday magazine, we get to know a little bit more about young centre-back Ben Morgan in our Under-18s feature, while U21s left-back Stephen Kingsley talks to Jack Magazine about growing up with Falkirk, settling in Swansea and making his debut in the FA Cup.
Meanwhile, current Crystal Palace coach John Salako recalls a successful loan spell with the Swans at the start of his playing career, X Factor winner Steve Brookstein goes under the spotlight in 'A Famous Face', and former Swans star Kwame Ampadu features in 'Where Are They Now?'.
And if that wasn't enough for you, we have plenty more insightful and entertaining features to whet your appetite right up until kick-off!
Jack Magazine is available for just £3 on matchday from around the Liberty Stadium, the Club Shop and online.
It will also be available in Slee Stores in Plasmari, Coggers on Wind Street and Browns Newsagent in Landore.
Jack Magazine really is a must-have for any Swans fan. Don't miss out.
