Habitat Homecare's November Carer of the Month

In association with Habitat Homecare, Swansea City is delighted to continue its support for Habitat Homecare’s ‘Carer of the Month' scheme which has been launched to provide a small token of our appreciation and to recognise those carers who have gone above and beyond to improve someone’s life.

We understand that a lot of what carers do on a daily basis is challenging but hugely rewarding, as well as vital in supporting the most vulnerable in society.

The ‘Carer of the Month’ initiative helps us to recognise those who’ve gone that extra mile, above and beyond what’s expected. Expertly delivering professional, person-centred and outcome-focused care.

Caring isn’t easy, however, everyone who works within these roles genuinely has a passion to enhance someone’s life and - in line with the above - Habitat Homecare’s Managing Director Steve Davies is pleased to announce their November 'Carer of the Month' award goes to Kathryn Baker.

Kathryn joined the Habitat Team during the midst of the pandemic to gain more experience to support her Social Work studies. Since joining the team, she has been extremely reliable, supporting our clients to meet their care & support needs.

As an individual who communicates as effectively with her clients as she does with the Head Office team, she is always happy to provide cover for her colleagues when she is able & described as patient, caring & dependable.

Well done Kathryn, we are all very proud of you.
