Hannes Delcroix | We are disappointed, but there's no time to dwell on defeat
Hannes Delcroix believes Swansea City should not be too disheartened by defeat to Watford as they turn their attentions to the visit of promotion contenders Burnley.
Delcroix made his first start since the defeat to Stoke as Moussa Sissoko's goal gave the Hornets a 1-0 win at Vicarage Road.
Swansea had chances to take something from the game in Hertfordshire but were unable to capitalise on some promising attacking positions.
They now face the Clarets at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday, with Delcroix unavailable under the terms of his loan agreement.
But he feels the Swans can still look forward with positivity following their recent improved run.
"In the first half I don't think we were really on it. The goal comes from a mistake, but we know it's not down to one person because we all make mistakes and this is football," said Delcroix.
"In the second half I think we had more threats. We offered more running and on a different day I think we could easily have had a draw.
"But we don't have much time to dwell on this, we have another game coming up quickly and we have to focus.
"You have to clear your mind and look at where we can improve.
"Of course, I was pleased to be back in the team, I have worked hard and hoped to have my chance and I thought we were solid defensively.
"We have been on quite a good run, we have kept clean sheets and picked up points.
"We are disappointed with this but we have been good at home recently so I will look to do my best to help the team get ready to try and be the best we can be."
