Swansea City defender Harry Darling will miss the season finale against Millwall after undergoing surgery on a foot injury.

The centre-back has been in fine form as the Swans have enjoyed a strong conclusion to the 2023-24 campaign.

But he underwent an operation earlier this week, and will aim to be back in time for the start of pre-season ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Otherwise head coach Luke Williams expects to have the same group of players to choose from as for last weekend’s draw against Norwich City at Carrow Road.

“Harry Darling has had an operation on his foot, he has been in some discomfort,” said Williams.

“But he has been playing so well and wanted to keep playing, but we got to a stage where it got too much.

“He had the surgery and the surgeon has confirmed we had made the correct call, and it went well.

“He has been in today and now he can work over the summer to be ready for pre-season.

"Otherwise the group is looking very good, and the levels have stayed the same, there has been no drop-off."
