Injury blow for Rodon
Swansea City manager Graham Potter confirmed defender Joe Rodon broke a metatarsal in the victory over Sheffield United.
The defender lasted just 20 minutes of the 1-0 win at the Liberty Stadium before limping to the sidelines after requiring lengthy treatment.
He was replaced by Cameron Carter-Vickers, and Potter revealed the prognosis was not good for the academy product, who is facing six weeks on the sidelines.
"He has broken his metatarsal, so he is out for six weeks," said Potter.
Potter also confirmed that Wayne Routledge's half-time withdrawal had been due to a calf problem, while Wilfried Bony's absence from the matchday squad had been due to a slight knee problem.
But the Ivorian is expected to return to training at the start of the coming week.
