International calls for Swansea City players

Twenty Swansea City players will head off on international duty this week to represent their countries.

As confirmed last week, Joe Rodon and Connor Roberts are in the Wales senior squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Slovakia and Croatia.

Bersant Celina, meanwhile, is in Kosovo’s squad for their fixtures against Gibraltar and Montenegro, while Kristoffer Nordfeldt has been included in the Sweden party to face Malta and Spain.

Additionally, Sam Surridge and Ben Wilmot have been included in the England Under-21 squad as they take on their Slovenian and Austrian counterparts.

Swansea have five players in the Wales Under-21 squad. Ben Cabango, Brandon Cooper, Jack Evans, Keiran Evans and Liam Cullen are all in Paul Bodin’s plans to take on Moldova in Chisinau.

Cameron Evans, Jacob Jones, Tivonge Rushesha, Josh Thomas, Lewis Webb and Dan Williams are in the Wales Under-19 squad for a pair of fixtures against Austria at Dragon Park in Newport.

Josh Edwards and Harvey Miles have received Wales Under-17 call-ups, while Ali Al-Hamadi is in Iraq’s Under-23 squad.
