Ishe Samuels-Smith set to miss remainder of the season
Vitor Matos has confirmed Ishe Samuels-Smith is set to miss the remainder of the season after returning to Chelsea for treatment on a quad injury.
The defender has missed the last two games with the problem, and is not expected to be available for the Swans final run-in as the Chelsea medical team handle his recovery.
Zeidane Inoussa will not be risked after feeling minor discomfort in his back, while Josh Key and Ethan Galbraith are sidelined.
“There was nothing major to came out of the last game,” said Swans boss Matos.
“Zeidane has just felt a little bit of discomfort in his back, it is nothing serious but it is important to manage him correctly after this kind of injury.
“Josh Key is still out, but is stepping up his rehab and he should be available before the season ends.
“Ishe had a muscle injury, and he is now back in the control of his parent club. He has been assessed and returned to Chelsea, and he will probably not play again this season.”
