Jamie Paterson is set to miss Swansea City's Championship clash with Millwall, but there are no new injury concerns ahead of the clash with the Lions.

Midfielder Paterson sat out the weekend win over Blackpool with a groin complaint, and assistant head coach Matt Gill has confirmed he will also be unavailable against Millwall, with long-term absentee Liam Walsh also on the sidelines.

And, while Gill admitted the Swans would need to assess the players after the long trip to Blackpool, he is expecting an unchanged squad.

“We have no new injury concerns,” he confirmed.

“They’ll be some tired bodies as it was a long journey and we’ll reassess everyone today, but we came through it pretty much unscathed.

“Jamie’s doing okay. He won’t be available tomorrow [Millwall], but he’s rehabbing nicely.

“We’ll have to wait and see whether he’s back for Saturday [against Luton Town], but Tuesday's game will be too soon.”
