Jamie Paterson's derby wonder strike wins Westacres Goal of the Month

Jamie Paterson’s magnificent strike against Cardiff City has been voted the Westacres Goal of the Month for October.
The midfielder opened the scoring in the south Wales derby as he picked the ball up around 25 yards out before curling an unstoppable strike into the net via the inside of the post.
The wonderful goal, which set the Swans on the way to a 3-0 win, beat off competition from Joel Piroe’s strike in the same game, Paterson’s smart finish against West Brom and Jake Bidwell’s finish of an excellent team move against Peterborough.
