Jay Fulton has set his sights on getting amongst the goals for Swansea City this coming campaign after netting a hat-trick in the pre-season win at Yeovil.

Fulton's treble helped Steve Cooper's side on their way to a 6-1 win, with Bersant Celina, Barrie McKay and Courtney Baker-Richardson also on the scoresheet.

The Scot opened the scoring with a wonderful curling strike from distance, before finishing from close range for his second.

And he completed his hat-trick with an emphatic finish from Celina's low corner.

Fulton netted three goals for the Swans last term, courtesy of well-taken finishes against Preston, QPR and Aston Villa.

The former Falkirk man feels that tally should have been higher, and he hopes Tuesday night is a sign of things to come and that he can help share the goalscoring load.

“That’s the first-ever hat-trick I’ve scored. After the first goal, they just seemed to follow. I’m always happy to get amongst the goals," he said.

“I scored a few goals last season but feel like I should probably have had more.

"The whole team have got to take it upon themselves to start adding goals to their game.

“We expect Oli to score goals for us and he will score goals, but we need to share the load. I

"If we can get goals from centre-backs, midfielders and also have the wingers chipping in then it will hold us in good stead for the season."
