Jazz joins Palace on loan

25th January

Swansea City defender Jazz Richards has completed a loan move to Crystal Palace until the end of the season.
The Wales international signed for the Eagles today, and will remain at the club for the remainder of the campaign.
Richards, who has made four appearances under Michael Laudrup this season, will join up with a Palace side currently sitting fourth in the Championship - just two points off the automatic spots.
The 21-year-old will give Ian Holloway further options at right-back, while Richards will look to gain further first-team experience during his time at Selhurst Park.
Palace are without a game this weekend, but Richards will be available for Wednesday's Championship fixture at Huddersfield.
The Brynmelyn product has made 36 appearances for the Swans since turning pro in 2009.
He made 15 appearances in his first season as a pro, making his debut in a 3-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough.
He then featured eight times as the Swans clinched promotion to the Premier League, adding another eight appearances in the top flight before winning his first Wales cap against Mexico last May.
Richards had also won international honours at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level - captaining the latter.
Richards is the second member of the Swans squad to head out on loan today, following on from Leroy Lita's temporary switch to Sheffield Wednesday.
