Jisung Eom and Jay Fulton doubtful for Hillsborough trip

Swansea City will make a late decision on the availability of Jisung Eom for Saturday’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday, while Jay Fulton is also a doubt for the Hillsborough clash.

South Korea international Eom picked up a knock in the midweek Carabao Cup tie against Plymouth Argyle and had to be replaced, while Fulton suffered a muscle injury.

And head coach Alan Sheehan revealed he will have to see if the pair come through in time to be involved in the fixture in south Yorkshire.

“Jisung had a knock, it was an enforced change the other night,” said Sheehan. 

“He’s had a bit of treatment so we’ll see how he is out on the grass on Friday. We’ll see how he reacts and we’ll make a decision then. 

“Jay played through a minor tear during the closing stages so he could be a doubt for the weekend.”
