Swansea City midfielder Joel Cotterill has signed a new contract with the club and completed a loan move to Bristol Rovers, subject to international clearance.

Cotterill, whose existing deal was due to expire at the end of the current season, has put pen to paper on terms through to the summer of 2027.

He will now link up with The Gas for the remainder of their 2025-26 League Two campaign.

Cotterill, 20, has been with the Swans since the age of seven and made his first-team debut as a substitute in a Carabao Cup tie against Oxford United in 2022.

He has since had loan spells in the EFL with Stockport County and Swindon Town, making a total of 60 appearances and scoring six goals in total.

We wish Joel well during his time at the Memorial Stadium.
