Joel Latibeaudiere believes Swansea City’s first pre-season friendly in front of fans will be another important milestone in the squad’s preparations for the 2022-23 campaign.

The Swans travel to face Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday evening for their first pre-season match away from their Fairwood Training Ground, as they take the pitch at Home Park for the second summer running.

And the defender believes fans in stadiums adds a different dynamic to how the match is played and the experience as a whole.

“Every day is an important step because it’s another step closer to the start of the season,” said Latibeaudiere.

“But definitely playing in front of a crowd again adds a bit of pressure, and it’ll be nice to experience the butterflies before the game again.

“Hopefully we can go to Plymouth and put on a show. I’m sure they’ll be a load of Swans fans going down there to support us so it’ll be good to see them again.”
