Joel Piroe strike wins Westacres Goal of the Month vote

Joel Piroe’s winner at Bristol City has been voted the Westacres Goal of the Month for August.

The Dutch striker netted the only goal of the game at Ashton Gate, showing great composure and technique to fire home a rebound after his own strike had come back off the post.

The strike beat off competition from two of Morgan Whittaker’s efforts in the Carabao Cup win over Plymouth, and Piroe’s own superb finish at the end of a flowing move at Preston in our fan vote.
