Josh Tymon admits Swansea City have to improve and deliver on Luke Williams’ vision for the team as they head into the final third of the Championship season.

Full-back Tymon has been among the players to make a bright start to Williams’ tenure, registering three assists in seven league games under the former Notts County boss.

The 24-year-old has been enjoying working under the new head coach, particularly the demands he places on players in wide areas.

And he knows the Swans have to start turning periods of promise in games into results as they head into the business end of the campaign.

“Once we get used to the way of working and what the gaffer wants us to do, I think things will click and performances will improve, but we have to make sure that is the case,” said Tymon.

“We are not a million miles off, we have had a tough run and we are getting used to a style of play we want to have moving forward.

“The lads who came in during January have giving us something a bit different and we just need to improve over this last third of the season.

“The manager wants that high intensity and the full-backs to drive forward and break the lines, from my perspective that suits me perfectly.”
