Kaelan Casey hopes he will get the chance to make his first Swansea.com Stadium appearance when Swansea City host Crawley Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday (7pm).

The Swans host the League Two side as they look to bounce back from their frustrating defeat at Middlesbrough in their league opener.

Casey made his debut at the Riverside, playing the final stages a few days after making his loan move from West Ham United.

Now, he has his sights set on getting more minutes under his belt under the lights in SA1.

“I think first half at Middlesbrough we played reasonably well, but then it’s really disappointing to concede from a set-piece,” said Casey.

“We have another game coming up quickly, so we’ll have to make sure we improve.

“I was pleased to make my debut, but obviously I was not happy with the result, I am here to try and help the team, and to test myself.

“I am looking forward to Tuesday and I hope I can get more minutes, particularly playing in front of the home fans for the first time.

“We won’t underestimate the task at hand, you should never take an opponent lightly and I am sure we will be ready to go.”
