Ki named Player of the Season

20th May

Ki Sung-Yueng was crowned Supporters' Player of the Year at Swansea City's annual awards dinner, while Lukasz Fabianski got his hands on three awards.
Ki was handed the night's top gong on the back of a magnificent season, in which the midfielder broke the record for most goals in a single Premier League season by a South Korean.
The 26-year-old has scored eight goals in 2014-15, including strikes in both home and away fixtures against Manchester United as the Swans did the double over the Premier League giants.
Fabianski, meanwhile, got his reliable hands on the Players Player of the Season, Best Newcomer of the Season and Away Player of the Season awards after an impressive first season in South Wales.
The Poland international has so far kept 13 clean sheets in the top-flight this campaign, one away from the club's record of 14, which was achieved during Swansea's first season in the Premier League.

Also on the night, Jay Fulton was named Young Player of the Season after the Scottish midfielder was involved in a number of Garry Monk's squads this season while helping Swansea's Under-21 side lift the Professional Development League Two trophy.
French striker Bafe Gomis took the Top Goalscorer accolade for the ten goals he has scored in his debut season at the club.
The former Lyon striker has enjoyed an impressive second half to the campaign, scoring crucial goals against Arsenal, Manchester United and Aston Villa to help the Swans on their way to a history-making season.
There were numerous contenders for Goal of the Season after a number of sensational strikes.
But Wayne Routledge's strike against West Brom in August was picked as the best of the lot by attendees on the night.
The winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award, meanwhile, was Lorraine Corbett.
