Ladies edge five-goal thriller

6th November

Swansea City Ladies returned from a two-week week break with a 3-2 victory over Newcastle Emlyn.
The first goal of the game came after 18 minutes as a cross from Chloe Lloyd was met by a fine header from Jodie Passmore.
The visitors battled well in the second half and after Nadia Lawrence equalised, she added another shortly after to put the visitors ahead.
The Swans made it 2-2 through Rachel Rowe with five minutes left on the clock, and the hosts side went on to grab a late winner as Emma Beynon set up Stacey John to fire home.
Full back Emily Hancock said: "It was a great display of determination from everyone and we were happy to come away with all three points and looking forward to building from that.
"From a personal point it was nice to play my first 90 minutes after being out of football for two seasons and playing with some of my old team-mates."
