Ladies hit eleven past Aberystwyth

8th October

Lisa Owen scored four as Swans Ladies cruised to a comfortable victory over Aberystwyth.
Owen opened the scoring just four minutes in with cool finish before Jodie Passmore scored from the spot after Rachel Rowe was brought down.
Passmore grabbed her second from Rowe's cross, while Owen made it 4-0 shortly after.
Owen helped herself to a hat-trick as she finished well from Amanda John's cross, and the Swans added two more before the break as Passmore and Rowe found the net.
Substitute Carrie Slack scored with her first touch after coming off the bench to make it eight, while Owen notched her fourth to make it 9-0.
Rachel Rowe added two goals in the final two minutes as the Swans ran out resounding winners.
Manager Ian Owen said: "Our performance and finishing was fantastic. There is a lot of competition for places now so the intensity of our game has gone up lately. Individuals know they are not guaranteed a game and their attitudes reflect that - everyone wants to fight for their places in the team."
