Swan Ladies 7-0 Rhyl & Prestatyn
Swans Ladies hit seven past Rhyl and Prestatyn as they continued their recent good league form.
The first goal of the game came inside the first quarter of an hour when Sam Sweeney met the ball from a corner to score on her debut for the club.
Two minutes later Katy Hosford crossed the ball into the box which was deflected from Rhyl defender Catherine Archer and found the back of the visitors' net.
In the 24th minute the Swans scored a third when a ball from right back from Amanda John was played into Chloe Lloyd who turned and slotted the ball into the bottom corner.
A minute before half time saw Captain Alicia Powe stride forward into the oppositions half who then played a well-paced pass into the path of Emma Beynon to make it 4-0.
Two minutes after the restart, Emma Beynon crossed the ball into the box which was headed by Chloe Lloyd for her second goal of the game.
Swansea City Ladies midfield battled well to win the ball back and extended their lead in the 65th minute when a Passmore strike from outside the box found the top corner.
The Swans kept possession, switching the play and creating space and were rewarded with another goal when Katy Hosford found the back of the net from a long range strike.
Swansea City Ladies continued to create chances and the Swans were denied an 8th goal in the last minute of the game when a long range free kick from Emily Hancock was denied by the crossbar.
Chloe Lloyd said: "It feels good to be back playing with the team after a tough ten days away with the Wales Womens Senior team in Croatia and winning my first senior cap.
"It felt good to come back with that extra bit of fitness and intensity to grab myself two goals. I am looking forward to the next few games."
