Liam Walsh makes Hull City loan move
Swansea City midfielder Liam Walsh has joined Hull City on loan for the remainder of the 2021-22 season, subject to international clearance.
Walsh links up with Shota Arveladze’s Tigers as they look to continue the recent run of good form that has steered them clear of the Championship relegation places.
Walsh, 24, joined the Swans in the summer, after his time with Bristol City came to an end.
He has made seven appearances for the club, the most recent of those being a substitute appearance against Hull at the weekend.
Walsh, whose contract runs through to the summer of 2024, began his career at Everton and progressed through the academy to the under-23 ranks.
He had loan spells at Yeovil and Birmingham before joining Bristol City in 2018
He made 18 league appearance before being loaned out to Coventry City, who he helped to win the League One title in 2020, with his performances seeing him included in the PFA team of the year.
