Borja Baston scored his second goal in as many games for Alaves but a 1-1 draw with Girona wasn’t enough to prevent them being leapfrogged by Real Madrid in La Liga.
The Spaniard played 89 minutes for the Basque Country outfit, holding off a defender to volley home an equaliser from close range on 50 minutes to take his tally for the season to four.
