Luke Williams wants Swansea City to head into the off-season with a good feeling by rounding off the 2023-24 campaign with victory over Millwall at the Swansea.com Stadium (12.30pm).

The Swans have taken 10 points from the last 12 available, and it is only the Lions who boast a better record over the same period having record four-straight victories.

While neither side is involved in the shake-up at either end of the Championship table, the Swans head coach insists there is no shortage of motivation as his side look to sign off with a flourish.

“There’s a lot riding on the game. We have to continue to make a good feeling and build trust with fans so that there’s a minimum expectation,” he said.

“On a good day, we want to exceed that expectation, and on a bad day we won’t want to drop below that expectation.

“I think it’s fair to say we’ve built momentum with performances and results in this run.

“We’ve had a tough game against a really good outfit in Norwich and we made a similar type of performance to them, and this was a good insight to see how we’ve moved along.

“We now have to back up our performance with another one against a team in brilliant form.

“I don’t think a Millwall team will ever turn up not trying to win.

“They’re not scared of anything, they can soak up pressure and try to hurt you. We’re going to have to be clean with everything we do, because they’ll hurt us if we are not.”
