Head coach Luke Williams wants Swansea City to keep showing intensity and aggression in their play as they prepare to face Watford tonight (7.45pm).

The Swans head to Vicarage Road looking to build on the momentum of back-to-back wins over Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers.

Swansea made fast starts in both games, and then showed defensive resolve to seal a pair of 2-1 victories.

Williams wants his side to continue to play with the same energy they opened with in the pair of victories, and keep building their performance levels.

“The test for us as a group now is can we maintain that level, and can we maintain that intensity and aggression?” said the Swans boss.

“We have to be able to maintain that otherwise it will mean nothing.

“We have to make sure we keep winning and that’s what it comes down to now for us, we have set a standard which needs to be the bare minimum moving forward.

“If we are to keep progressing, we have to at the very least maintain what we have been showing.

“In the first halves of the last two games, we have shown that energy and now we want to make sure we extend those periods in games.”
