Andre Marriner will take charge of Swansea City’s Premier League fixture against Burnley on Saturday.

Marriner, from Birmingham, is hugely experienced in top-flight football having officiated in the Premier League for the last 13 years.

He last refereed the Swans back in August, when goals from Tammy Abraham and Jordan Ayew sealed a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.

He also took charge of the Swans' crucial trip to Sunderland at the back-end of last season, when they claimed another 2-0 victory.

Marriner has been in charge of a couple of memorable Liberty fixtures in the past. He was the man in the middle in the 2011 play-off semi-final victory at Nottingham Forest, plus the 3-0 Premier League victory over Cardiff.

Marriner has refereed in Europe and at international level, while he took charge of the 2013 FA Cup final between Wigan and Manchester City.
