Andrew Madley will be the man in the middle when Swansea City go to Aston Villa on Saturday.
Madley, from West Yorkshire, has never previously refereed a Swans game, although he was the fourth official in their opening-day win at Sheffield United.
The 35-year-old has been refereeing in the Football League since 2011, and has been a regular in the Championship since 2016.
Madley, the older brother of former Premier League referee Robert, will be assisted this weekend by Mark Russell and James Wilson, while Sebastian Stockbridge will be the fourth official.
