Craig Pawson will take charge of Swansea City's Premier League clash with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday (4.30pm).

South Yorkshire official Pawson will be in control of a Swans fixture for the third time this season.

He refereed the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the Liberty Stadium in December as well as the 2-1 defeat at Stoke a few weeks earlier.

Pawson has taken charge of two Manchester City home games this season and they have won handsomely on each occasion, beating Stoke 7-2 and Spurs 4-1.

He also refereed the Citizens' victories at Huddersfield and in the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal.

Pawson joined the select group of referees back in 2013, and joined Fifa's international referee list two years later.

He will be assisted this weekend by Stuart Burt and Constantine Hatzidakis, while Paul Tierney is the fourth official.
