Dean Whitestone will be the man in the middle when Swansea City host Preston North End at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
The Northamptonshire official has not refereed a Swans match since a 2-0 win at Bristol City in 2011.
He has taken charge of five games at the Liberty, with Swansea losing just one of those.
Whitestone, who was at the helm of last season's Football League Trophy final, will be assisted by Mark Russell and Mark Jones.
Richard Hulme is the fourth official.
