Jeremy Simpson will be the man in the middle when Swansea City host Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night (7.45pm).
The Lancashire official has only taken charge of the Swans on two previous occasion, overseeing the win at Sheffield United and defeat at Nottingham Forest last season.
Simpson first refereed in the EFL in 2012, getting his first taste of Championship football the following February.
He will be assisted by Daniel Leach and Timothy Wood, Savvas Yianni is the fourth official.
