Jeremy Simpson will be the man in the middle when Swansea City travel to face Barnsley in the Championship on Saturday (7.45pm).
The Lancashire official has only taken charge of the Swans on three previous occasion, overseeing the win at Sheffield United and defeat at Nottingham Forest during the 2018-19 season, and the home draw with Blackburn last term.
Simpson first refereed in the EFL in 2012, getting his first taste of Championship football the following February.
He will be assisted by Michael George and Bhupinder Gill, while John Brooks is the fourth official.
