Man in the middle: Lee Mason

Lee Mason will take charge of Swansea City’s Premier League home fixture against Watford on Saturday (3pm).

Mason, from Lancashire, has previously refereed eight times at the Liberty.

The 45-year-old was also the man in the middle for the Swans’ most recent meeting with the Hornets, who prevailed 1-0 winners at Vicarage Road in April, while he also oversaw the 1-1 draw in March 2011.

Mason has refereed 227 matches in the top-flight, issuing 694 bookings and 37 red cards.

He will be assisted on Saturday by Harry Lennard and Matthew Wilkes, while James Linnington is the fourth official.
