Man in the middle: Lee Mason

11th April
First team

Lee Mason will take charge of the Swans’ Premier League fixture against Everton at the Liberty on Saturday (3pm).

Mason, from Bolton, will be the man in the middle for a Swans game for the fourth time this season.

He refereed the Swans' 2-1 loss to Watford at the Liberty in September and the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal at the Emirates in October.

But he also officiated in the rousing 3-1 victory over the Gunners in SA1 in January.

Mason took charge of the Swans’ League One play-off final against Barnsley at the Millennium Stadium back in 2006.

He will be assisted on Saturday by Harry Lennard and Marc Perry, while Lee Probert is the fourth official.
