Man in the middle | Matthew Donohue

4th February
First team
Matthew Donohue

Matthew Donohue will be the man in the middle when Swansea City host Derby County at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

The Greater Manchester official will be taking charge of the Swans for the first time in what will be his 16th Championship fixture. It will also be the first time he has overseen a match involving the Rams.

Having officiated in the EFL as an assistant referee, Donohue elected to focus solely on being the man with the whistle from 2016.

He refereed 35 EFL games last season, and his first second-tier game as a referee came when Hull beat Reading back in August.

Donohue will be assisted by Sam Lewis and Robert Hyde. Scott Jackson is the fourth official.
