Michael Oliver will take charge of the Swans’ Premier League clash with Southampton on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Oliver, from Northumberland, will be the man in the middle for a Swans game for the third time this season.

He took charge of the 2-1 home loss to Leicester back in October and the goalless draw with Huddersfield in March when Jordan Ayew was sent off.

After being elevated to the Fifa list of referees in 2012, Oliver took charge of the 2014 Community Shield between Manchester City and Arsenal at Wembley and the 2016 League Cup final between Manchester City and Liverpool.

Oliver also referees games in Europe and at international level.

He will be assisted on Tuesday by Simon Bennett and Stuart Burt, while Andre Marriner is the fourth official.
