Neil Swarbrick will take charge of Swansea City’s Premier League fixture against Liverpool at the Liberty Stadium on Monday (8pm).

Swarbrick, from Preston, will be the man in the middle for a Swans game for the second time this season.

The last time Swarbrick officiated a match involving the Swans was when they were bearen 1-0 at Chelsea in the Premier League in November.

The 52-year-old was in charge of five of the Swans’ Premier League matches last season, with the Liberty club losing four and winning one.

Throughout his career, Swarbrick has officiated 21 Swans matches. The Swans have won only six of those, drawing five and losing 10 across the Premier League, the Championship, League One and the FA Cup.

Swarbrick took charge of the Swans’ 2-1 victory over Manchester United in February 2015, when goals from Ki Sung-Yueng and Bafetimbi Gomis secured the club’s first ever double over United.

He will be assisted at the Liberty by Constantine Hatzidakis and Daniel Cook, while Mike Jones is the fourth official.
